Getting started

1
Open the app and use the Mik T / OutTherE switch at the top. Mik T shows the complete catalogue; OutTherE shows the current 24-song Mik T and Giles Wallrock catalogue, including Gravity, Three Songs and Mech of War.
2
Read the audience boxes. SoundCloud and Spotify show followers; YouTube shows channel subscribers. All-platform audience adds the displayed profile totals, but is not a unique-person count because one person may follow on several platforms.
3
Use the menu along the bottom. Swipe the menu sideways on a phone to reach every section. Tap the ? in the top bar to return to this manual.
4
Tap the refresh arrow after a data update. If an installed iPhone copy still looks old, fully close it and reopen it once.

Add the app to an iPhone Home Screen

  1. Open the app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.

How to view and read the graphs

Every pie slice shows its percentage directly. Press a coloured slice to see its full figures in a larger box at the top of the app; the box closes when you lift your finger.

Open a pie chart

1
Open any app section containing a pie chart, such as Overview, Graphs, Spotify, YouTube or an audience breakdown.
2
Press and hold a coloured slice. A large pop-up at the top of the app stays visible while your finger is down and closes when you lift it. The phone copy and lookup menu is disabled on pie slices. Tap a matching legend row, or the centre marked Tap a slice, to open the complete chart-data panel.
3
The temporary pop-up shows the slice’s ranking, name, actual verified figure, projected total, estimated increase, percentage, data source and verification date. Where the app cannot calculate a reliable projection, it clearly says that the projection is not available.
4
For details that stay open, tap a legend row. Tap another legend row to change the highlighted result.
5
Tap Close at the top of the chart-data panel when you have finished.
The legend works like the pieIf a slice is too narrow to tap comfortably, use its coloured legend row. The percentage is also printed on every slice and repeated in the legend.

What the chart details mean

“Other” slices: when many small results would make the chart difficult to read, the app combines them into one “Other” slice. Its percentage is printed on the chart and its exact combined figure remains available by tapping the slice or its legend row.

Daily line graphs

Daily charts remain line graphs because they show when activity happened. Orange means SoundCloud plays; green means exact Spotify streams where Spotify has supplied a dated value. Tap a point to see the date, exact figure and song breakdown.

The From and To boxes include both selected dates. Public lifetime totals are never divided into invented daily figures.

Radio section

The Radio section records verified Mik T and OutTherE airplay separately from interviews and press coverage. Use the Mik T / OutTherE switch to view the complete record or only OutTherE.

Dates and times are shown as UK local station time. The app never invents a time or treats a playlist listing as several plays.

How projected figures are calculated

Forecasts start at 21 days. Use the selector to choose any period from 1 to 365 days. They are planning estimates based on the data currently available when the app was refreshed.

SoundCloud plays for each song

Lifetime pace = all-time plays ÷ days since the song was createdFor OutTherE songs, the app also calculates recent daily pace. The forecast pace is 65% recent pace plus 35% lifetime pace. For the wider Mik T catalogue, where complete recent daily history is not always available, it uses lifetime pace.
Projected plays = forecast pace × selected number of daysThe answer is rounded to a whole play and cannot go below zero.

Spotify streams for each song

Lifetime stream pace = known streams ÷ days since releaseIf an exact seven-day Spotify stream total exists, the app uses 65% recent seven-day pace plus 35% lifetime pace. Otherwise it uses lifetime pace only.
Projected streams = forecast stream pace × selected daysNo Spotify projection appears when there is no verified stream total.

Followers and monthly listeners

Projected followers = current followers + (latest saved change × selected days)SoundCloud and Spotify follower projections extend the latest saved movement at the same pace.
Listener daily change = (current monthly listeners − previous monthly listeners) ÷ comparison daysProjected monthly listeners add that daily change multiplied by the selected forecast period. The result cannot go below zero.
Important: forecasts are not guaranteed. A release, playlist, press story, advertising campaign or quiet period can change the real result sharply. The next verified update replaces the estimate with actual figures.

Protected Admin section

Tap the cog in the top bar and enter the Admin password. The public app does not display the password, private royalties or account credentials. After three incorrect attempts, that device is paused for 15 minutes. A successful Admin session lasts up to eight hours.

Respond

  1. Choose a song. The default is the song with the most identifiable comments.
  2. Type up to four reusable replies and press Save all four. They are saved on that device.
  3. You may use {name} and {song}; the app replaces them with the selected person and song.
  4. Select the reply you want, search for a person if needed, then tap Copy reply & open profile.
  5. In SoundCloud, tap Message, paste, review and send. The app does not send DMs automatically.

The current list includes every identifiable commenter in the verified comment data. Liker and reposter identities require an authorised SoundCloud API connection before they can be added accurately.

PRS data

Shows verified work-registration and distribution information. It does not estimate PRS publishing royalties.

Spotify royalties

Projected streams = known streams ÷ active release days × selected future daysThe private calculator allows 1–365 days or 1–52 weeks.
Planning income range = projected eligible streams × £0.002 to £0.004The middle planning figure uses £0.003 per stream. The app currently treats a tracked song with at least 1,000 known streams as eligible for this planning calculation.

Spotify does not pay a fixed amount per stream. Market, subscription type, rights ownership, distributor terms, publishing splits and deductions can change the actual payment. DistroKid or other official statements take priority over this estimate.

Privacy: earnings stay inside the protected Admin section. SoundCloud, Spotify, DistroKid, PRS and tax credentials are never displayed in the public app.

Respond: turn activity into conversation

The protected Respond section helps you thank people who interact with your SoundCloud songs. It suggests the most suitable saved reply, personalises it, copies it, and opens the person’s SoundCloud profile for your final review.

1 · Like responseA warm thank-you for someone who pressed the heart on a song.
2 · Comment responseA friendly answer for someone who took time to leave a comment.
3 · Repost responseA playful thank-you for helping a song reach a wider audience.
4 · General responseA flexible message for mixed activity or any other interaction.

How the suggestion works

The app matches the interaction to a reply: Like → Like response, Comment → Comment response, Repost → Repost response, and unknown or mixed activity → General response. You stay in control and can choose a different reply before sending.

Use Respond step by step

1
Tap the cog, log in to Admin, then open Respond.
2
Choose a song. The default is the song with the most identifiable comments. Search by a person’s name or words in their comment if needed.
3
Review the suggested reply. Edit any of the four templates and tap Save all four. They are stored on that device.
4
Use {name} and {song} in a template. The app replaces them with the selected person and song title.
5
Tap Copy reply & open profile. In SoundCloud, tap Message, paste the reply, check it, and send it yourself.
Why this matters for marketingA quick, genuine reply helps turn a one-off play into a relationship. It can encourage repeat listening, future comments and word-of-mouth sharing without making the conversation feel automated.
Important: the app never sends a direct message automatically. It only prepares and copies the text. Always read the final message before sending it in SoundCloud.
Coverage and privacy: named people appear only when SoundCloud identifies them in the verified data. The public app does not expose the Respond list, saved replies, passwords, credentials or private account information.
